Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems

CASAS Tests

The Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems (CASAS) assess basic and academic skills in real-world contexts. CASAS tests can be used to assess and track progress in reading, math, English language, writing, and work-readiness skills

CASAS tests can be used with native and nonnative English speakers, ranging from the lowest literacy levels to postsecondary education, training, and the workforce.

Educators value CASAS because tests track longitudinal progress and certify attainment of benchmark proficiency levels.

Employers value CASAS because test results provide an international standardized benchmark system to certify work-related skills and English-language proficiency.

Test-takers value CASAS because tests cover everyday situations relating to their lives, employment, and goals.

CASAS tests are approved by the United States Department of Education and the United States Department of Labor.

You may choose to administer tests online or with paper booklets.
